Riverdale spin-off Katy Keene takes teen drama and musical dreams to New York City.

New York City has always been a character on its own when it comes to TV shows or movies. From the night-life and diverse people, to the foods and weird smells, the Big Apple as it is affectionately known, never fails to add that extra spice wherever it shows up in. None so less than in the new Riverdale (2017-now) spinoff show, Katy Keene, with the titular character played by Lucy Hale (Aria Montgomery in Pretty Little Liars, 2010-2017).

The show is set away from the small town of Riverdale and takes place in New York City where four aspiring artists try to follow their dreams. The road to said dreams is bumpy, filled with pot-holes shaped like mean bosses and womanising music producers and to help us stitch our way through all of this, they manage to sprinkle in musical songs as well.
