Pearl’s blossoming relationship with her church-leader beau Pastor Makoro is threatened by her toxic past.

Just when record label exec PearlGenaro (Petronella Tshuma) was about to give up on love following countless romances ending in heartache, she receives a miracle from the heavens. Charming new celebrity church leader Pastor Makoro (Kabelo Moalusi, Mokau on local drama series Bone Of My Bones, 2017-now) asks her out on a date. “Pearl is hesitant to wine and dine with this morally upright man. As we all know, Pearl is no angel and she has far too many skeletons in her closet,” explains Petronella.

But after careful consideration, Pearl agrees to give Pastor Makoro a chance. “After all, it wouldn’t hurt to get to know him. Pearl deserves her shot at happiness, so she hides her past from Pastor Makoro,” adds Petronella. Sadly for Pearl, her sketchy dating history and deadly past catch up fast. Will it ruin her romance with the church leader?

DINNING WITH THE EXES

On their way to the restaurant, Pastor Makoro cancels their reservations and talks Pearl into dinner at a business associate’s house. Little does Pearl know that Makoro is referring to her nemesis Suffo Ndlovu (Mduduzi Mabaso). “Pearl gets the shock of her life when she’s ‘introduced’ to Suffo and his sons Mzi and Pule (Jesse Suntele and Zamani Mbatha),” says Petronella.
