WHEN Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux tied the knot in a lavish L.A. ceremony in 2015, it felt like a huge relief. Up until that point, dark clouds had seemed to loom over their courtship. There was the long-term girlfriend (stylist Heidi Bivens) that Justin unceremoniously dumped after falling for Jen on the 2011 set of Wanderlust. There were the months Jen and Justin spent apart as he filmed his intense cable hit The Leftovers in Australia. There was Jen’s enduring reputation as a lonely heart after a succession of flings and failed relationships. And of course, there was the couple’s own seemingly endless three-year engagement, an inexplicably protracted period that they spent dodging questions about an actual wedding date.
