After plotting a split in secret for months, sources say Ellen DeGeneres is calling it quits on her marriage to Portia de Rossi.

The pain on her face said it all. Her head bowed and tears streaming down her cheeks, Portia de Rossi, 36, was spotted breaking down in public in L.A. on Feb. 4. “She had clearly been sobbing her heart out,” a spy tells Star. “Her eyes were red and puffy, her makeup was running and she looked unsteady on her feet. It was shocking to see!”
