STAFFERS at Ellen DeGeneres’ daytime talk show were stunned. On May 11, the 63-year-old informed them that, after 19 seasons, Ellen will go off the air in the spring of 2022. “When you’re a creative person you constantly need to be challenged,” the former sitcom star said in an interview. “And as great as this show is, and as fun as it is, it’s just not a challenge anymore.”
