PRINCE WILLIAM and Kate Middleton’s third child can be quite a handful. “He’s only 3, but Prince Louis is the leader of the bunch at home,” an insider says. “When he gets an idea in his head, he’s off and running. He definitely keeps Kate on her toes.” The naughty speed-demon loves to zip around on his scooter and bicycle — even when he’s indoors! “He’d tear down the hallways if it wasn’t for his parents telling him he’s not allowed to do that,” reveals the insider.

Fifth in line to the throne, Louis — who’s attending Willcocks Nursery School this year near the family’s Kensington Palace digs — is also learning to ride horses, and has his very own pricy pony to practice on! “Kate and William were getting endless requests for horses from the kids, so they finally caved. Of course these aren’t just any ponies,” the insider adds, “they are pedigreed and cost millions.” (Great-gran Elizabeth has made a reported $8 million racing the horses she breeds!)

Still, the insider says Kate and William are trying their best to instill good values. “They want to ensure that Louis and his siblings are grounded.”
