Dominic Zamprogna Makes A GH Comeback

“I ’m pretty stoked to be back!” enthuses Dominic Zamprogna, who returned to the GH studio in mid-February to reprise the role of Dante, which he vacated in mid-2018 after a nine-year run.

Executive Producer Frank Valentini initiated his comeback. Explains Zamprogna, “Frank approached me a few months back and said, ‘I know you’re not ready to come back long-term, but would you come back short-term?’ We talked about what that would mean and he said he wanted to wrap up some story. He felt kind of bad the way we had left things for fans, as far as the character, where he was, why he hadn’t come back and how he’d sort of abandoned his family. So we just talked about me coming back for a short term and I said, ‘Yeah, sounds cool.’ We talked about some story ideas and here we are.”
