Imagine your little daughter wanting to go to the beach one day. The same beach you grew up on and have the best memories of. You take her there and as soon as you reach, you can’t see any sand. It’s just an oasis of plastic trash strewn all over. That’s exactly what Jay Shringarpure experienced. And that moment left a lasting impression on him. Since that day, April 1, 2017, he has consistently gone to Dadar Beach in Mumbai every Sunday to clean it.
