Mimoh aka Mahaakshay Chakraborty is in the news… not for his films obviously… but for a very unsavoury incident that seems to be dodging his footsteps. He is in the eye of a devastating storm at the moment wherein he has been accused of rape by a Bhojpuri actress who he allegedly was in a relationship with for four years.

Poor Mimoh has always been in the shadow of his illustrious Disco Dancer father Mithun Chakraborty for long. And though his debut Jimmy was a complete wash-out and he was “adviced” to train his thin voice, Mimoh went off to Tollywood and did some decent films there.

Success however still eluded him in the Hindi film industry. And though one did hear of him once in a while starring in forgettable films like The Murderer (which never saw the light of day) or Loot, Mimoh was mostly a forgotten name until now…
