FRIENDS FEAR THE WORST AS THE RAPPER ANNOUNCES HES MOVING TO CHICAGO

This was an announcement no-one saw coming. ‘I’ve got to let you all know that I’m moving back to Chicago,’ Kanye West declared on September 17 at Chance the Rapper’s open mic event held in the city’s South Side – near where he was raised. ‘I’m never leaving again.’

The crowd went wild, and began chanting, ‘Kanye! Kanye! Kanye!’ But there’s one person who isn’t cheering: Kanye’s wife of four years, Kim Kardashian. Sources say the reality star, 37, has no plans to relocate to the Windy City with her husband, 41, and that she’s furious with his decision. ‘Kim will not uproot their kids [North, five, Saint, two, and Chicago, eight months] from California and move them to the Midwest,’ says an insider, adding that Kanye’s shock plans may be the final straw for the couple. ‘They’ve had their share of issues over the years, but this latest hiccup could spell disaster. They’re going to be living completely separate lives.’

Kanye’s declaration came as a shock to everyone, including Kim. ‘She was stunned,’ tells the source. ‘Yes, they bought a home in Chicago, but it was meant to be a family vacation spot so Kanye could spend more time with his dad. But now he’s telling everyone the move is going to be permanent, which wasn’t part of the plan.’
