Jennifer Lawrence 'I Get Devastatingly Lonely'

The Oscar winner reveals how being suddenly single has affected her lifestyle.

Living in LA has its drawbacks, according to Jennifer Lawrence. The star admits she feels nervous every time her beloved dog Pippi ventures outside. ‘Coyotes, bigger dogs, rattlesnakes, big crows,’ she explains. ‘Every 20 minutes I have a heart attack. I’m going to be a great mother.’

The word ‘mother’ popped up a lot last year for Jen. Mother! is the horror flick she was working on when she fell in love with director Darren Aronofsky, and she admits the movie played a role in their September split when it bombed at the box office. ‘I’m in single mode where I am like, “Cool, I can do whatever I want,”’ Jen says. ‘In a few months I will be devastatingly lonely… but I’m not there yet.’

The 27-year-old admits she likes to stay in and as a result, she’s close to her neighbours, including Cameron Diaz and Zoe Saldana – who’s been known to drop by to borrow onions! ‘I have a neighbour who is the most amazing cook, so I’ve just been getting all my meals over there,’ Jen laughs.
