The 16 th Raj Anand Moot Court Competition was held in collaboration with Vidya Intellectual Property Foundation on 25th August at the Indian Habitat Centre in New Delhi.

This Moot Court Competition was started in the year 1998 and focuses specifically on Intellectual Property, with participants from top Law Colleges in India. Over the years, several legal luminaries and personalities from diverse walks of life have participated as Judges at the Competition, which has substantially added to the understanding of complex Intellectual Property issues.
The Competition has also spread the message of the importance of Intellectual Property and demystified the grey areas in law.
This year’s topic was on the interface between Competition Law and Intellectual Property focusing on Patent Licensing of life-saving drugs and was selected as one of the hottest Intellectual Property topics being discussed in legal circles in the current times.
