Consistent with its objectives, TECI has worked with its members to discuss, collate and crystallize the viewpoints of the members with regards to the Draft National E-commerce Policy

TECI (The E-Commerce Council of India) is a trade association that is focused exclusively on the rapidly growing E-Commerce sector in India. The founding members of TECI include product and services marketplaces Snapdeal, ShopClues, UrbanClap, Shop101, Flyrobe and Fynd along with social commerce platform Shop101. The founding members also include digital-first fashion brands like Bewakoof, Breya and Rustorange. Online brands like Mamaearth, Superbottoms and Azah, which focus on specific segments like baby care products and women’s hygiene products are also part of the group that has collaborated to launch TECI.
Consistent with its objectives, TECI has worked with its members to discuss, collate and crystallize the viewpoints of the members with regards to the Draft National E-commerce Policy.
TECI has also engaged with PLR Chambers, India’s leading law firm specializing in public policy and regulatory affairs, to provide advice on issues pertinent to an E-commerce policy for India.
REVIEW OF E-COMMERCE POLICY
Identification of the key points for consideration about each clause
Collation & presentation of recommendations for each clause as submitted by the members
Inclusion of international references and reference to other sectoral laws as relevant for the clause.
