NINJA H2: ‘FORCED INDUCTION' IN XBHP GARAGE
October - November 2020
|xBhp
The long-standing dream has been fulfilled. The Ninja H2 is now a part of the xBhp Garage.
DO you like cliches? I don’t. They are just what they are, too cliched. Google says ‘a cliche is a phrase or opinion that is overused and betrays a lack of original thought’. And that’s the point. A feel-good phrase but a hollow one. Here’s one- ‘Dreams do come true’. Sounds just like a cliche, right? Except it isn’t. Because the dream was a Kawasaki Ninja H2 and reality is the one parked in the xBhp Garage.
That didn’t seem like the start of a review or something similar, right? It was not. Sometimes some things in this world are not dictated by mere words being thrown around. Neither is their capability defined by a piece of paper. That’s the kind of object that the Ninja H2 is. That is why it was a dream to have it here one day. And that is why this particular piece is going to be all about what it feels like to know that you are just one whim away from a supercharged run… every day!
Let’s start from the beginning. When the Kawasaki Ninja H2 was announced, it seemed like just another concept and flexing of tech muscles by the Japanese giant. It felt like something that will never see the light of the day. How could it?
It was too… extreme. From the way it looked to the technical perspective. It was superlative in every sense of the word and I am all for that. Despite it seeming too outlandish, I was hooked. Then they said that the H2 will enter production, that the concept was not just flexing of muscles… It was a clarion of war. But in my opinion, their flagship or warship, to be precise, had already won.
