Romarno Johnson from Edenvale is a 19 year who has just finished building his first car - a 1964 Nissan Junior.
When Romarno was 14 years old he came across a Nissan sitting in a scrap yard all ready to be cut up into scrap metal. He says “My father did work at a construction site and I went with him and when I saw the car I knew I had to have it”. His dream was to build his own car so he asked his parents for the money and seeing his determination, they agreed. He had an idea for the build but would need help from his dad, Ryno and best friend Ivan Gesner, to get going.
