MPs Call For Ban On Pavement Parking After Inquiry

Select committee’s report slams Government for not tackling issue sooner.
Parking on pavements could be banned across England, after the Transport Select Committee said it was “deeply concerned” about the lack of action over a practice the Government itself admits causes “real problems” for road users.
Pavement parking has been outlawed in London since 1974, while Scotland is currently legislating on its own national ban.
