We talk to a henkeeper from Northern Ireland who just loves her ex-bats
-

Debbie Deboo and her husband Richard started keeping chickens after being shown around a battery rescue centre – and they haven’t looked back since.
The couple had moved to the country in Northern Ireland from London after Debbie was diagnosed with ME and they sought a better quality of life.
They came across the Northern Ireland Battery Hen Rescue centre and were given a tour by one of the organisers, known as Mama Hen.
