Who has been your favourite person to interview and why?

‘I have a soft spot for Jeff Bridges; he’s funny, in the moment and egoless. Reese Witherspoon has such a sharp, vibrant mind – you can literally see the wheels turning.’

When was your last pinch yourself moment?

‘Professionally, when I was asked to host the interviews with Nicole Kidman and producer Bruna Papandrea for the launch of Big little Lies in front of a theatre of hundreds of people. Creating questions, connecting with the talent and getting them to bare their souls for our audience. It reminded me of how much I love what I do and how lucky this girl from Sydney with no “industry” contacts is to end up in Hollywood doing this job. Not so long ago I was a girl watching episodes of Sex and the City on the floor of my parents’ home, dreaming of having a career as a journalist like Carrie Bradshaw, then one day I’m interviewing Sarah Jessica Parker for E! News. It’s very humbling.’

What was the moment you realised you had ‘made it’?

‘I don’t think I’ll ever get to the point where I sit back and think, I’ve made it. There have been countless amazing and surreal experiences: emceeing the fundraiser for the then mayor of New York, Rudy Giuliani, interviewing President Bill Clinton backstage at Radio City Music Hall; receiving two Emmy Award nominations for my work at E!
