According to American bowhunter Tom Miranda, Africa has become the most popular international bowhunting destination. “Of all the animals a bowhunter can pursue in Africa, the bushbuck is the most like a white-tail,” Tom says. He hunted one near Cape Town and shares his adventure in “The bushbuck – Africa’s white-tail” (p 22). To balance the scale, local bowhunter Johan Smit of HunTech Pro realised a life-long dream when he was invited to bowhunt white-tailed deer in America.
