In memoriam... As WATCH! went to press for our upcoming April 2017 issue, we learned of the tragic passing of Bill Paxton. The beloved TRAINING DAY actor starred in more than 50 films, including classics such as ALIENS, APOLLO 13, TWISTER and TITANIC. He was also the star of HBO’s BIG LOVE, for which he was nominated for three Golden Globes. Paxton's kindness, generosity, unforgettable voice and cheerful spirit were legendary in Hollywood. We had the privilege of witnessing him in action with his TRAINING DAY co-star Justin Cornwell during a memorable, laughter-filled photo shoot for this issue. The photos captured by photographer Gavin Bond commemorate Paxton’s zest for life, so we want to share these joyful moments from a rare sunny day in an otherwise rainy California winter, made even brighter by the ever-brilliant Bill Paxton.
