Occasionally, we are lucky enough to encounter
someone who profoundly changes who we are for the better. Eloise “Mom” Goodreau was one such person in my life. I met her in Denver at one of the first Kish & Co. events. She immediately
embraced me like I was her long-lost granddaughter.
Growing up, my grandparents had not been involved
in my life, so I welcomed the love she shared with me.
She is really the only real grandparent I’ve ever known.
From that point on, every time I saw her, she would light up with absolute joy. Sometimes,
she would drop a letter in the mail to tell me what was happening in her life and to find out about mine. My soul smiled when I received a letter from Eloise. She showed me the definition of love in a way I had never quite seen before.
