nation, and raised a nation-wide furore. The four
animals not only gangraped her, but also shoved an
iron rod up her genitals and pulled her internal organs

conscious. The chargesheet described the Juvenile
offender as the most brutal of all. This Juvenile by a
mere 6 months got the benefit of being ‘underage’,
and was sentenced to three years in correction home, which is the maximum
he could be awarded under The Juvenile Justice
(
Care and Protection of
Children
) Act, 2000, which inspired another round of public outcry.
