Design Diary International Description:

Design Diary International is a celebration of architecture, interiors, design, and the culture that surrounds them. We believe design is not just about form and function but also about memory, ritual, and imagination. Our content moves fluidly across eras and geographies: photo essays on architectural heritage sit alongside in-depth brand profiles, designer interviews, and coverage of international design houses. Each article is crafted with journalistic depth, weaving history with modernity and aesthetics with meaning.

This issue of Design Diary International opens with a name that has redefined luxury in motion. Our cover features Celia Sawyer, a designer who has shaped an entirely new category of luxury. For years, she has transformed private jets, superyachts, and airborne residences into moving works of design, redefining what it means to create a sanctuary that travels. Featuring her was not a choice; it was an inevitability. Celia stands at the very top of a field where precision, engineering, and elegance must coexist without compromise. She is, without question, the undisputed force in luxury aviation and yacht interiors today.
We are also honoured to feature Sonali Bhagwati, one of the most respected voices in Indian architecture. This edition carries some of the strongest international submissions we have received so far. From SAOTA’s Lagoon Villa on the shores of the Ébrié Lagoon to Breathe Architecture’s layered reimagining of Sydney’s Paramount House Hotel, the projects reflect a shared clarity and commitment to context. Tristan du Plessis’s Cullinan in Dubai and Vyom by Studio Tattva in India bring another register of luxury, one rooted in narrative, craft, and cultural lineage.
We continue our focus on craftsmanship and product culture through conversations that bring design thinking to the surface. Our interview with Andrea Turri offers a rare look inside a century-old Italian brand navigating heritage and modernity with equal discipline. Bellavista & Piccini discuss proportion, restraint, and the architectural rhythm behind their work, while Pierre Yermia takes us inside the emotional and spiritual core of sculpture.
Across these pages, whether architecture, interiors, product design, or art, a few common threads emerged: precision, intention, and an insistence on substance.
