Issues relating to mental health run deeper than most of us realise and conditions like insanity, mental and psychiatric disorders, anxieties, phobias, depression and hyperactivity are all too common in our times. Sadly, the taboos and stigmas associated with these conditions often lead to either lack of timely attention or total neglect. To redress such issues, Neerja Birla endeavours to raise awareness about mental health, demolish the stigmas associated with it and help those affected to live more enriching lives through her movement, Mpower. We have featured her on our cover in this issue.
