Jharkhand cabinet approves Rs 38.76 crore
for college in Ichagarh,clears 26 key proposal
Ranchi, June 20: In a move
towards strengthening education and
infrastructure in Jharkhand, the State
Cabinet led by Chief Minister
Hemant Soren approved 26 major
proposals during a meeting held at
Project Bhawan on Friday. Cabinet
Secretary Vandana Dadel briefed the
media about the key decisions taken.
Among the most notable
approvals was the administrative
sanction of Rs38.76 crore for the
construction of a new degree college
in Ichagarh, and Rs57 crore for the
establishment of a women's college
in Khunti. These decisions are part
of the government's broader initia
tive to enhance higher education
facilities across the state.
In another key development, the
cabinet approved the formation of
the Jharkhand Rajkiyakrit Prathmik
Shikshak Promotion Rules, 2025,
aimed at streamlining teacher pro
motions. Additionally, on the direc
tive of the National AID
