With the ITB Asia 2018 looming over the horizon, we at India and You present before you the region of India with the most untapped tourist potential. Consisting of the states, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura, the north east of India has always had to face the stigma of being clubbed together. And yet, these eight states each have unique things to offer travellers of varying palates. From the serene mountains to the enchanting tea gardens, the landscape is mersmerising. This year,  World Travel Mart (WTM) in London has chosen eco-tourism and sustainable tourism as two of its main themes, allowing countries and companies in the travel business  to exchange best practices in how to protect the environment and also boost tourism at the same time.
