January was named after Janus, The Roman God of all beginnings, the protector of the gates and the doorways which symbolizes beginnings and endings. Janus is depicted with two faces one towards the past and endings and one towards new beginnings, possibilities, and hope for the future. This month we feature the people who bring us new hopes and opportunities and a better future. We have young talent Soumitrisha Kundoo as our cover face for the month, who within a short span of time has become a household name and garnered a lot of praise and accolades for the portrayal of the character Mithai in Zee Bangla. Deerghoi Paul is not just a pretty face, she has been doing fantastic work in serials and web series. Her recent series is Mohomaya in Hoichoi. Kaushiki Basu is yet another young talent studying fashion and was swept into the entertainment industry. She is currently portraying the character “Queen” in the serial Guddi. Brishti Roy is a powerhouse of talent, she has done a lot of serials, web series, and movies. Her recent movie Daaho Sanskar was selected for Kolkata International Film Festival 2022. DJ Paroma is one of the leading DJs in India. She has worked with labels like Zee Music, Sony, and Tseries. She is the brand ambassador for V-moda and UDG Gear representing India. Neel Saha is a celebrity stylist, alumni of NIFT. He is the stylist of Monami Ghosh, Trina Saha, IshaSaha,andSandiptaSen.Heistheownerofthebrand“StyledbyBlue”,thewordbluedepicts a lot of plethora of emotions and experiences which are depicted in his work. Subir Ghosh , MD Unirox Bikes. He joined his family business and expanded and diversified it.
