Energy efficiency in buildings is increasingly becoming an essential
solution towards conservation of energy across the globe. In India too,
it is and should be poised as the most important feature of the building
sector. Energy use is abundant in the country with heating and cooling
constituting 34% and lighting at 29%, of the total energy consumption.

The concept of green homes is a trend that is here to stay and is slowly but surely catching up in India.
