The most evident realisation across the industry is the fact that the pandemic has accelerated 10-years equivalent of transformation in 10 weeks. It is forcing India Inc to reassess its priorities — and to adapt to new ways of working and doing business. Many companies have risen to the occasion, acting swiftly to safeguard employees and migrate to a new way of working that even the most extreme business-continuity plans hadn’t envisioned. Across industries, leaders will use lessons from this phase of the pandemic, that witnessed an overnight, large-scale transformation, to understand the role of workplaces of the future—in creative and strategic ways. Given this, the 7th Anniversary Issue of Commercial Design aims to gather an industry-wide perspective from over Top 100 leaders, experts and professionals in the field -- such as architects, project heads, consultants, and facility managers -- to understand the strategies adopted by them.
