For this 'comparison special' issue, we've brought together a whole bunch of cars and bikes.

There's Isuzu's newest, the massive MU-X, which takes on the undefeated Toyota Fortuner. It's a brutal battle of brawn. The Toyota Corolla Altis takes on the Hyundai Elantra and the Skoda Octavia, and the Mini Clubman gets into a skirmish with the Audi Q3.

Also, we have a high-octane track fight as the Mercedes-AMG GT R, BMW M4 GTS and Porsche GT3 RS go wild trying to run circles around each other. And there's a Triumph family get-together as well. Of course, it's not like we've only worked on features this month.

There's a whole bunch of new cars and bikes that have been driven and ridden including two of the new Lexus line-up – the LX 450d and the ES 300h. There's also the new Hyundai Xcent and Grand i10, the new Audi Q3, the 2.0-litre engine equipped version of the Jaguar F-Pace, the Ford Figo S, the Harley Street Rod 750, the BMW 740Li and a tussle between two hybrids – the Toyota Camry and the Honda Accord. But if we simply stuck to the ordinary, we wouldn't be TopGear.

So, we also took a new Polaris-Eicher multipurpose vehicle camping, flew over the Western Ghats in a Stemme S6RT power glider and had an exclusive chat with Mahindra Racing team principal, Dilbagh Gill.
