We thought we’d kick off Perspective’s 16th year of covering the architecture, interiors and product design fields with something special — our very first bumper ‘combo’ issue, encompassing the months of both January and February.
And we didn’t want to just put out a bulkier version of our regular edition: so, welcome to The Design Issue, in which we take in-depth looks at a range of topics and issues, under the headings of Placemakers, Public Art, Pop Art, Play and Palate.
We also have the full results of our inaugural A&D Trophy Awards, with photos from the VIP gala presentation night which took place in mid- December — and renowned music composer, artist, designer and man- about-town Mark Lui chats with Pinky Lai, in another edition of Perspective’s exclusive series of one-on-one interviews with Hong Kong’s leading designers.
