This month’s issue of The Landy is graced by one of the most beautiful Land Rovers we have ever seen.
That’s a bold claim to make, but Falcon Design Germany is a bold company – and its take on restoring a Series III has to be seen to be believed. The phrase ‘better than new’ is often used with little justification, but when you see the lengths these guys go to in remanufacturing old Landies into heirloom vehicles, you’ll agree that it’s totally appropriate in this case.
You’ll also find a very different kind of Land Rover in this month’s issue. The Discovery 1 has long since become a favourite with off-roaders, but a nice one can still make an excellent daily drive. So how about using a trayback with an 82” wheelbase as a daily drive? Turns out it can be done…
We’ve got the story of a Pyreneean adventure with a leading 4x4 tour operator, too, as well as a workshop project with a difference – removing the modifications from a Defender 90 in readiness for taking it back to standard.
