In this issue we meet one of the biggest champions of the Landscape Industry in the Middle East, Dr Jala Makhzoumi who is this year’s recipient of the industry’s highest award, the Sir Geoffrey Jellicoe Award given by the International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA). We also speak to the Landscape architects behind the landscaping of the Sustainability pavilion at Dubai’s EXPO 2020. Desert Ink are hoping that their project will be a blueprint, as well as an inspiration to fellow architects and clients when carrying out projects in the future.
