Thank goodness, with an 84-page issue to play with we’ve had half a chance of fitting it all in and we’ve given you a small gift too, in the form of an additional FREE plan with two great designs to build. Firstly there’s Ray Wood’s Freeman 22, a delightfully evocative late ‘50s cruiser that’s affectionately regarded as the original caravan afloat. Then, for the yachtsmen amongst you we’ve John Goodyear’s racy looking RG65 legal sailboat called Alpha. East to build and with a truly competitive club performance it’s guaranteed to appeal across the board, whether you’re a first timer or a veteran builder. Elsewhere in the issue Neville Wade makes a welcome return with a ‘how-to’ on square rig sail control, John Tushingham is back to round up his Dragon’s Tale and there’s an also adrenalin-fuelled intro to fast electric racing. But that’s really only scratching the surface.
