Despite the widespread understanding that a transition to renewable energy is necessary, there are a number of risks and barriers to making renewable energy more appealing than conventional energy. Renewable energy rarely comes up as a solution beyond combating climate change, but has wider implications for food security and employment. This further supports the recognized dearth of research for clean energy innovations, which may lead to quicker transitions. The transition to renewable energy requires a shift among governments, business, and the public. Experts think energy consumption would increase due to the development activities, and to ensure efficient use of energy, the countries are working at different stages in power generation, industry and transportation sectors. It is being told that around 20 percent of energy could be saved by 2050 through efficient use. The efficiency would play a greater role in space cooling system. Renewable energy would also play a big role in cases of transportation and heating while nuclear based power generation would be doubled during this period, reducing the dependence on fossil fuel. Everything is related to the target of limiting the global tempareture rise, which is vital for saving our earth.
