Sport-friendly tech abounds, but what about the sound?
Sennheiser Momentum Sport

Equipped as they are with heart-rate and body-temperature tracking, high-quality Bluetooth codec support and adaptive noise cancellation, Sennheiser’s new Momentum Sport seem special enough to be picked from a line-up of fellow ‘sport’ earbuds. And that is before you consider the impressive pedigree of the Momentum name.

Quality build and materials

Just one look at the charging case reveals that Sennheiser has striven for quality and appeal here. The lovely, rubberised, magnetic lid hinges open and closed with the quiet inclination of a soft-close kitchen drawer. If only this magnetic lid clasp were practical! Throw the case in the bag with your other sundries and it is all too easy for it to flip open.

Speaking of the case, make sure both earbuds are pressed firmly onto their charging contact points as the wingtips can get in the way of a secure fit.

The Momentum Sport’s default form is wingtip-less, but three sizes of wingtips are helpfully supplied in the box to offer a more secure fit. Attaching them can be a little tricky, but the clever basic design should give you a secure fit.
