Some people are born to do something and where ever they may come from, they rise up to the world and move beyond the common and then they elevate the world around them to their level of existence at a higher plane. Bikram Singh is one such maestro who personifies that. He takes the listener a much higher plane than mundane existence with his rendition of the divine instrument, The Flute. That he was born in the North East of India only adds to the picture one gets in mind while listening to his performances. The world has recognized his talent and he moves ahead, teaching his disciples the way to reach their full potential as a flautist. In "Maestro Speaks" Santhosh Chandran quizzes this genius of an artist about his musical journey and how he gets the energy to play this tough wind instrument for hours together without break... let’s read...
