If ever there were a person born to be in real estate, it is Sherine Duncan. Her father and grandmother were both in the business, and for as long as she can remember she thought selling houses was fun. “When I was about five years old, I would dress up in my grandma’s patent leather pastel heels and pretend to sell houses,” she says with a chuckle. “My dad would take me with him to his open houses. He taught me how to measure and calculate square footage, how to rake the wall-to-wall carpet in one direction and how to look up properties in a phone book! (That was the MLS book).
