Ruling parties in India may come and go, but the bonding of India’s ties with Africa has not shaken. The current authorities in play ushered the friendship to strategic heights.

The Vice President of India Mr. Hamid Ansari was cordially invited by the H.E. Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, Vice President of Federal Republic of Nigeria. Mr. Hamid went on a 5 day, two-nation trip from the 26- 29 September, 2016. It was his second visit to Africa in this year, which mainly consisted of Nigeria and Mali. Mr. Ansari was accompanied by Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, Hon’ble Minister of State for Finance and four members of Parliament, senior officials and the media.
