Hall tells his Tiverton players ‘keep the faith’

WHEN you are fighting relegation, then it is important to take points off the teams in and around you in the table. For Tiverton Town right now, it feels as though they could even buy a win.

Hall tells his Tiverton players ‘keep the faith’

> Tiverton Town player-manager Asa Hall

Ahead of their game with Hanwell Town last time out, Asa Hall’s side were eight points adrift of safety. Defeat extended that gap to 11 and the table makes for further grim reading with Tivvy ten points adrift of safety.

They do have games in hand, but winning is a problem. Just two victories all season from 15 games is the lowest in the division. The 25 goals conceded is the highest and with just 12 goals scored, there are problems at that end of the pitch as well.

Yes, this Tiverton squad is young and they are learning on the job, but things have to change soon, if they are to preserve their Southern League Premier Division status.
