Sledgehammer and screwdriver used in brutal attack

TWO thugs who beat their victim with a sledgehammer and stabbed him with blade and a a screwdriver while he was visiting a friend have been jailed for 10 years.
Stefan Ledden, 32, and George White, 26, left the man with a fractured skull, a broken leg and multiple lacerations following the assault at a house in Redbrooke Road, Camborne, on September 10, 2024.
A sentencing hearing at Plymouth Crown Court heard Ledden and White arrived at about 3.30pm.
Their victim had been visiting a friend who "knew that the pair were dangerous", the court was told.
Shortly after the offenders arrived the victim's friend told him to run, but he was blocked from doing so and instead ordered to "get on the ground" by Ledden and White.
