It erupted again at 7.45am local time on June 18.

The latest eruption prompted the cancellation of dozens of flights to and from the popular Indonesian resort island of Bali on June 18. There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties.

Volcanic ash rained down on several villages around Mount Lewotobi Laki-Laki and forced the evacuation of at least one village late on June 17, the country's disaster mitigation agency said.
