70% of Pinoys ready to fight for country - OCTA

Seven in 10 Filipinos expressed readiness to defend the Philippines in case of a conflict against a foreign country, according to a survey conducted by the OCTA Research group.
The survey, conducted from Sept. 25 to 30, found that 70 percent of the respondents said they are ready to fight for the Philippines if there is a conflict with a foreign enemy, down from 78 percent obtained in a similar survey in June.
Thirty percent said they are not ready to fight for the country, up from 22 percent.
