KL okays liquor policy: No dry days for MICE tourism

IN an effort to promote tourism activities, the state government has decided to bring in certain relaxations, including serving liquor on dry days for tourism purpose, in its new liquor policy for 2025-26.
The cabinet that met here on Wednesday approved the draft liquor policy that exempts hotels in tourism destinations from dry days observed on the first day of every month, on special occasions.
It's learnt that hotels ranked three stars and above will be allowed to serve liquor on day days too.
