2 of 4 Girls Who Fell into Peechi Reservoir Die

HOURS of anxious waiting and prayers of family and friends ended in heartbreak as two of the four girls who fell into Peechi Dam reservoir on Sunday died while under treatment at a private hospital in Thrissur on Monday.

The deceased are Aleena and Ann Grace, both 16 and residents of Pattikkad in Thrissur. They were Plus-I students at St Clare's Convent Girls HSS in Thrissur. The tragic incident occurred Sunday afternoon when a group of five girls, including siblings Nima and Hima, both residents of Peechi, visited the reservoir. Aleena, Ann Grace, and Irene, who had come to celebrate the local church festival at Hima'
