GT confident of good show
The Morning Standard|May 26, 2023
IPL table-toppers Gujarat Titans are a disappointed lot having lost the Qualifier I to Chennai Super Kings by 15 runs at Chepauk on Tuesday. More than the loss, the manner of the defeat which saw three runouts is what rankles them.

However, they are determined and eager to do well against Mumbai Indians in Qualifier II on Friday at Ahmedabad and make it to the final for the second time on a trot. "I think we were quite spot-on (with the ball), but we made basic errors and that cost us the game. With the kind of bowlers we had, I felt we conceded 15 extra runs. A lot of things we did right. We bowled a couple of loose balls in between. We were executing our plans and then in between we gave some runs. I don't think we need to look much into it. Just focus on the things that we've done really well this season," said Hardik Pandya after the loss to CSK.
