SUTTON HARBOUR GROUP REVEALS NEXT DEVELOPMENT
WILLIAM TELFORD
New waterfront project is set to start in January

CONSTRUCTION of a huge block of flats is set to begin on Plymouth’s waterfront at the start of 2024.

Sutton Harbour Group (SHG) has given little detail other than to tell investors to expect work to start in January on a new building of similar size to its nine-storey Harbour Arch Quay.

The latter building is near completion, with 12 of its 14 apartments, including two penthouses, now sold.

SHG said it has bought land and is advancing plans for comprehensive regeneration of the east side of Sutton Harbour, including the 21-storey Sugar Quay skyscraper, expected to cost £60 million, and the creation of an “urban village”.
