THE Home Office has not yet responded to a Plymouth coroner's Prevention of Future Death reports, which offered a series of recommendations in the wake of the Keyham shootings, but has said it will do so shortly”:
Senior coroner Ian Arrow set out in detail his views following the lengthy inquest held over the unlawful deaths of Maxine Davison, Lee Martyn, Sophie Martyn, Stephen Washington and Kate Shepherd on August 12, 2021.
Mr Arrow issued a number of reports on March 8 this year to a range of people and organisations including Home Secretary Suella Braverman, Policing Minister Chris Philp, every Chief Constable in England and Wales, the Lord Chief Justice, the Chief Coroner, as well as all the family representatives who attended the inquest.
Mr Arrow also supplied his lengthy report to the Health Minister, the Lord Chancellor, and the Secretary of Cabinet Office, among others.
