PLYMOUTH’S Royal William Yard is to welcome an outdoor sauna company based in a converted horsebox.
The new business will bring its wood-fired sauna to within metres of the water’s edge at Britain’s Ocean City.
Hálogi styles itself as “a seaside sauna company” offering “a new therapeutic and tranquil escape”.
Heating up the next bank holiday, the sauna will open on Saturday, May 4, offering free sessions, booked on a first-come-first-served basis, to celebrate its arrival. Hálogi’s sleek and innovative sauna is a cleverly converted horsebox, heated by a Finnish stove that maintains a constant 90°C temperature, and with space for up to six people.
