AN Ernesettle-based charity which helps young people in Plymouth is urging people to take part in its big fundraising event - the annual Summer Solstice Swim.
After last year's lockdown version, Barefoot is encouraging people to once again take to any waters they wish for the early morning swim on June 21- be it a pool, lake, river, or the sea.
Barefoot delivers community-based youth work to young people- aged 10 to 19 across Ernesettle, Whitleigh, and St Budeaux who want to engage with the charity, regardless of ability, class, race, or background. It deals with a range of issues and problems facing young - people, such as antisocial behavior, sexual health, and mental health.
